Freight Deliveries (Commercial Equipment)

Many commercial kitchen products, including tandoor ovens and oversized restaurant equipment, ship via freight carrier.

Freight shipments typically include:

  • Curbside delivery only
  • Delivery appointment scheduling by the carrier
  • Delivery during standard business hours

Please note:

  • A person must be present to receive and inspect freight deliveries
  • Additional services such as lift gate delivery, inside delivery, or residential delivery may require additional charges
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is accessible for freight carriers

Freight deliveries are typically curbside only and may require a scheduled delivery appointment. Certain oversized, commercial, or freight-shipped products may have additional shipping requirements listed directly on the product page.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are calculated based on:

  • Product size and weight
  • Freight classification
  • Delivery location
  • Carrier rates

Shipping costs may be:

  • Calculated at checkout
  • Included in the product price

Any applicable shipping charges will be clearly displayed before order confirmation.

Damaged, Lost, or Delayed Shipments

Please inspect all deliveries immediately upon arrival.

If your shipment arrives damaged:

  1. Note any visible damage with the delivery driver before signing
  2. Take photos of the packaging and product
  3. Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

Failure to report freight damage promptly may impact the ability to file a carrier claim.

While we work closely with our shipping partners, Spice Passport is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Carrier issues
  • Weather events
  • Port congestion
  • Manufacturer delays
  • Circumstances outside our control

If a package is lost in transit, please contact us and we will work with the carrier to assist in resolving the issue.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

Additional shipping fees may apply if:

  • An incorrect address is provided
  • Delivery is refused
  • Re-delivery is required

International Shipping

At this time, some products may only be available for shipping within the United States.

If international shipping is available for a product, shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
